Marjorie Barretto on her late dad: “What a great blessing you were to my children.”
September 29 is a bittersweet moment for the family of Marjorie Barretto because this is the birthday of her late dad, Miguel Barretto.
Miguel passed away at the age of 82 in October 2019.
Remembering her dad, Marjorie posted a couple of throwback photos of her Dad Miguel and wrote in the captions that he is a “great blessing” to her kids.
"September 29 is never an easy day for us. It's when I miss you most My dearest Dad. Happy Birthday in heaven. What an honor it was to be your daughter.” Marjorie said.
“And what a great blessing you were to my children. Thank you for showing them how it is to be loved and supported.I terribly miss you.
Meanwhile, Marjorie's son, Leon, admitted on his Instagram post that whenever the date turns to September 29, it is really difficult for their family, since they miss the presence of their dearest “Pike.”
Leon said, “[T]oday is a little extra hard for my fam and i knowing you would have been 87 years old Pike. i miss your presence, i miss your comfort, i miss your smile, i miss your corney jokes, i miss our talks, i miss you.. i know you are watching over us, please continue to give us strength and protection. love you so much Pike, i know you are dancing in paradise ️”
For her part, Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto and her sister Claudia also shared some throwback photos online with their Lolo Miguel. While Dani Barretto penned a heartfelt message on her Instagram Story for her lolo, whom she called their “angel.”
