Mariz Umali mother Milagros Bade Umali death


The family of Kapuso news presenter Mariz Umali and Gab Lagman is mourning the death of their dearest Mommy Milagros Bade Umali.

Unang Hirit host Mariz Umali is still reeling with the death of her mom Milagros Bade Umali or Mommy Mila last September 22.

Mommy Mila was 79.

The seasoned Kapuso news presenter took to Instagram on October 8, and uploaded a video clip of her Mommy Mila.

Mariz Umali then wrote in the captions that losing her Mommy Mila devastated her.

“Ma, sabi nila I should just accept and be happy, for you are in a better place now and there's no more pain. Ma, sorry ha kasi ang hirap hirap pa rin and no matter how hard i try, everyday just seems to get even more painful and difficult. I am honestly and truly devastated and heartbroken, Mommy ko.” Mariz admitted.

“How I desperately miss u. Thank God I was able to take this memory of you. I will never get tired of telling you, “Love you, Mommy”…hoping that someday, I will again hear you tell me “Love you, too”

In the comments section, Kapamilya heartthrob Gab Lagman also expressed how much he misses Lola Mila. Gab's mom and Mariz are first cousins.

When the family of Mariz Umali announced her death last month, the Kapuso news reporter mentioned that Mommy Mila was battling cancer.

Other celebrities who were previously diagnosed with cancer before were multi-awarded actress Cherie Gil, Mark Gil, and the late actor-director Johnny Delgado.
