'Cruz vs. Cruz' star Gladys Reyes on her father Sonyer Reyes: “He is the most faithful man that I know. Faithful to his family and his faith in God is admirable."
Versatile actress Gladys Reyes honored her late father, Sonyer Reyes, on his special day.
In an Instagram post, the Cruz vs. Cruz star shared a series of photos of her precious memories with her beloved dad and expressed how much she misses him.
“Remembering our father, Papa Sonyer's birthday. He would have been 70 today. He passed away when he was 66. It's been 4 years and we terribly miss his presence, everything about him!” she wrote.
The seasoned actress added that her father is the “most faithful man that I know.” She continued, “Faithful to his family and his faith in God is admirable. We will always remember and love him.”
In a separate post, Gladys uploaded snaps of her family as they visited Sonyer's resting place and had a simple dinner at their diner. Along with these, the celebrity mom penned a touching and emotional caption for her dad.
“What makes me sad is that he won't be able to see his grandchildren grow-up and I know how he loves spending time with them. God is always in control, He knows what's best.
“Knowing my father's faith, though it hurts to leave us, but this might be an answered prayer for him, to free his body from pain and suffering. He already completed his mission in life and I will always be grateful to have my Papa Sonyer as my father,” a part of her caption reads.
Gladys Reyes' father passed away in 2021.
