Sparkle content creator Benedict Cua proves he doesn't need a beach getaway to have a fun and meaningful summer. All he needs is his bundle of joy, his adorable son Aleck!

On his YouTube channel, Benedict gave fans a glimpse into his summer at home, sharing precious moments with his beloved family. Viewers were especially touched by how hands-on and devoted he is as a first-time dad.

From feeding Aleck and combing his hair to putting him to bed, the Sparkle star took care of his son with love whenever he was at home. And the affection was clearly mutual as Aleck couldn't stand being apart from his dad. Even a simple “bye bye” would make the little one cry.

"Sabi ng mom ko dapat naggu-goodbye daw sa kanya lagi and tell him that I'll be back so that he would realize that daddy will always be back. So, that's what we're doing," Benedict shared.

Still, as a loving father, the Kapuso star couldn't help but worry that his son might associate “bye” with separation

"What do I do?" he asked viewers. "Honestly, 'di ko alam ano gagawain. What do I do?"

For now, Benedict focuses on showering Aleck with love and creating joyful memories together.

Just like their recent mini pool day, when Aleck was all smiles as he splashed around with his dad and played with his favorite toys.

"I super love it here at home. It's like hitting multiple birds with one stone. Like, maalagaan ko 'yung parents ko, at the same time, [yung] parents ko sobrang getting along to take care of Aleck," Benedict said.

He also described Aleck as a true blessing who brought new life and energy to their home. With a kid around, the family often spends time together such as decorating the home, eating outside, and playing fun activities.

Last March, Benedict hosted a fruit-themed birthday party at a luxury hotel to celebrate Aleck's first birthday. He also marked his son's 12-month milestone with a heartfelt message.

"Time is flying by so quickly, and it still feels surreal. I love you more and more every day, and I hope that every time you look back on this moment, you remember just how immensely loved you are, my Aleck," he wrote.

In May 2024, Benedict bravely revealed in one of his vlogs that he had become a father. While the journey hasn't been easy, the Kapuso star is proud to embrace life as a single dad.
