#TitaHeart: Heart Evangelista, stepmom to Chiz Escudero's twins

Away from the star-studded fashion shows and bright lights of showbiz, Heart Evangelista is a loving stepmom to the twin children of Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero, Chesi and Quino.
Through her vlogs, Heart honestly told everyone that she had her fair share of disappointments when she officially became a part of Chiz's family.
She said, "In the beginning, I must admit that it was very, very hard for me to adjust because I'm the youngest of my siblings. And again, I never really had total freedom in my life. And then finally, when I was married, I had all the freedom."
"But then, you know, I couldn't make out with my husband anywhere in the house because we have kids. And that was really, really hard for me.
"I mean, making out was not the hard part, I'm just saying that the set-up was such an adjustment because I really had to mature and I wasn't thinking my age. I was so much more immature during those times.
"So it was really hard for me, I would cry."
Heart added that, at first, she didn't know her part in the family.
"We would be walking sa mall, and siyempre twins, so 'yung isang kamay [ni Chiz], hawak 'yung isa, 'yung isa, hawak nung isa. Ako, taga bitbit ng paper bag sa likod.
"So ang sakit, sakit, 'Ganito ba talaga 'yung gusto ko?'"
In the end, Heart has managed to love the twins, making them her own children.
"But then, when you love other people, even if you didn't give them the gift of life, it feels so good because you don't necessarily want anything in return.
"You just want to love them. You just want to guide them. And now, I really love them as my own."
Truthfully, Heart learned how to love and act as a stepmom to Chesi and Quino, in her years of getting married to Chiz.
