Jake Ejercito is sure to have a very memorable visit to the island of Siargao in Surigao del Norte.
It is actually his first visit to the island and his daughter Ellie Eigenmann offered to serve as his personal tour guide.
Jake shares custody of Ellie with his former partner Andi Eigenmann.
Andi decided to move to Siargao back in 2018 to settle down and build a business there with her fiancé Philmar Alipayo who is a champion surfer.
In a previous interview, Andi revealed that Ellie stays with Jake in Manila during the school year as she attends school in the city.
Andi regularly sees Ellie every month and takes her to Siargao with her during breaks like summer or Christmas.
Because of the pandemic, Ellie has been with Jake for about a year before returning to Siargao with Andi earlier this March.
Meanwhile, Andi, Philmar, and their daughter Lilo were also in Manila for an extended period as they awaited the birth of the youngest addition to their family.
Their son Koa was born last January 17.
"And just like that, my heart has grown even bigger once more. On the 17th day of January 2021 at 10:09 am, we welcomed the newest member of our family Hello world! Meet our little island boy, Koa," Andi wrote on her Instagram to introduce her youngest.
Andi, Philmar, Ellie, Lilo, and Koa then returned to Siargao as a family of five earlier this March.
Jake actually came to Siargao to fetch Ellie but the father-daughter pair decided to go on a quick vacation before returning to Manila.
