Yasmine Vargas admits her fourth pregnancy is physically and emotionally exhausting

The wife of Quezon city councilor Alfred Vargas took to social media to share her challenging journey as a pregnant mom. Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas is now pregnant with her fourth child with Alfred. They already have three children, Alexandra, Aryana, and Cristiano. The latter was a premature baby born in January 2019.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Mommy Yasmine admitted that her pregnancy now is much more taxing physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Yasmine wrote, “20 weeks pregnant. I've made it halfway!
“I'm trying my best to document everything as much as I can since this will be my last time to be pregnant.
“This pregnancy has been very difficult mentally, physically and emotionally.”
The Filipina-Italian mom has been dealing with a case of hyperemesis gravidarum. The medical website my.clevelandclinic.org stated that hyperemesis gravidarum is the medical term for severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. The symptoms can be very uncomfortable.
“From suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum and GAD, to worrying about having a low placenta (it resolved itself already and high-lying na), and to having a subchorionic hemorrhage in the first trimester.” Mrs. Vargas said.
“I spent 13 weeks on modified bed rest, unable to take care of my children as I used to nor go out with my family.”
“When I finally reached my second trimester, and started feeling a little bit better to resume my daily activities, we found out soon after that my cervix got shorter.
“I now have to go back to modified bed rest and have to take isoxilan and progesterone for the remaining months of my pregnancy.”
Despite her ordeal, Yasmine is staying positive that everything will be fine. “Praying so hard for a miracle. Keeping the faith that it will not get any shorter and hope to reach full term or at least 35 weeks like with Cristiano 🙏🏻.
She added, “I'm exhausted, but mahal na mahal ka namin anak, lahat gagawin namin para sayo.”
Alfred's former co-star in Encantadia, Iza Calzado commented on his wife's post and told her that she's praying for her and her baby's safety.
The Vargas couple first tied a knot in a civil wedding in August 2010 and held their dream church wedding in July 2017.
