Celebrity couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo have become new parents, welcoming their first baby yesterday, September 23.
Zanjoe shared the joyful news on his Instagram Story, posting a short video of himself walking down the hospital corridor with their baby in a carrier. He included the date “09.23.24” along with cheerful emojis and tagging Ria in the post.
In his excitement, Zanjoe also took to Facebook to announce the thrilling news with, “Eto na! Officially Zaddy ka na Z.” Friends, family, and fans flooded the comments with congratulatory messages, celebrating the new father.
Ria first revealed her pregnancy on Instagram by surprising Zanjoe with the news on Father's Day. In August, the couple hosted a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their son.
Ria and Zanjoe were married in a civil ceremony in March 2024, coinciding with Ria's 32nd birthday. They announced their engagement just a month before their wedding.
