And through it all, the Kapuso actor said his father, basketball legend Benjie Paras, motivates him the most. This much Andre revealed at his contract signing, recently. Andre signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network.

He said: “My family inspires me but the most important person who inspires me is my dad. Kasi nung time niya he was able to finish college while doing basketball, pero he was also doing movies and TV.”

Andre is currently part of AMA Online Education Titans D-League while studying through online education.

"As of now, I'm playing for D-League, sa AMA Basketball. Pero 'yun nga, minsan I don't get to show up sa training or basketball kasi of my work schedule. But they understand, that's why I love them kasi they support my work."

The Kapuso actor also expressed his gratefulness for his dad's support which makes Andre even more determined to follow in his dad's footsteps.

“I have no excuse; especially now that the technology's better. My dad paved the way for us to have an easy life and it's our decision how to make the most out of it. I want to have a diploma at the same time do what makes me happy which is acting and making people happy and doing basketball because it's in my nature.”
