Model Vanessa Matsunaga shares her thoughts about breastfeeding her kids in a recent Instagram post.
The sister of model-actor Daniel Matsunaga said that there were moments when she wanted to give up breastfeeding for so many reasons.
Vanessa said she only had four months break from breastfeeding her firstborn Isabella and her youngest child David.
She has two kids with her husband Jun Sunga. Vanessa gave birth to Isabella in 2016, while her baby boy David was born on October 18, 2018.
She wrote about her breastfeeding journey, "I recently celebrated 1 year and 6 months of exclusively breastfeeding my baby.
"Oh boy! That means 82 weeks or 566 days and counting.
"I have to say that few things in life make me this proud of myself.
"Proud because at first, I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it, thought of giving up many times, fought all the discomfort and sometimes pain, put up with being undressed in public and with the occasional bites.
"I started my breastfeeding journey in March, 2016 , breastfed my first born for 2 years and 3 months, 4 of those months I was already pregnant, and only had 4 months break from breastfeeding in the last 4 years."
The celebrity mom added that she is extremely proud of her decision to do it for her babies.
"I am proud of my journey, determination and love beyond measure for my kids.
"Forgive me for being blunt about it but I'm so happy that I'm doing a little happy dance while writing right now lol!"
