Lexi Fernandez also missed her mom Maritoni Fernadez's wedding as the former Kapuso star remains to live independently abroad.
Maritoni Fernandez took to social media her longing for her eldest child, former Kapuso star Lexi Fernandez.
Lexi has been staying in Australia since late February to take up a master's degree.
Little did they know that shortly after, the COVID-19 crisis will blow up into a pandemic, making the time apart from her family more challenging.
Now, they make do with video calls to fill in the distance.
Maritoni wrote, “Can't believe it's been 5 months since I saw you my angel love @leximalvarez1 I miss you everyday but am so grateful for our midnight chats, the internet, FaceTime and that you are safe and happy there in Mel.
"Can't wait to see you again and hug you tight. Til then, stay healthy and safe my baby. I love you...bigger than this house! (inside joke).”
Lexi reciprocated her mom's message, “I love you bigger than this house! Rubbing noses forever. Cannot wait to cuddle you again.”
The former Kapuso star has also earlier expressed her regrets for missing her mom's wedding.
She wrote, “Ok, this photo has me all emotional My 2 treasures on mom's wedding day.
"Would've loved to be standing with you but I'm smiling just looking at this.
"No matter what or where we are, together or apart, it'll always be us three. I love you both with all my heart, forever.”
Maritoni married her partner Mon Dayrit in a simple civil wedding on July 7.
