A zero-waste birthday party? Andi Eigenmann accepts the challenge.
After spending the past few months on the island during the enhanced community quarantine, Andi Eigenmann and her two daughters, Ellie and Lilo, are reunited and back in the city.
On her latest vlog, the mom of two showed how she prepared for Lilo's first birthday with the help of her eldest Ellie.
The challenge? Make it zero-waste.
She said, “So, we are now in our Manila home and finally reunited with Ellie.
“We are also celebrating Lilo's first birthday here in Manila and we're really excited. Although we miss Papa [Philmar Aglipayo] so much, but you know, we have to make do with our situation given what is happening around us.
“So, our original plan is to create a zero-waste birthday party, with all the kids on the island, will not be pushing through.
“But, what we are still gonna be doing, even though it's a small celebration, we still want to make sure that the party will have as little waste as possible.
“If we can achieve a zero-waste party here in Manila, we will be so proud of ourselves because that's something we never really pressured ourselves to do when we're here.”
Lilo's celebrated her first birthday with a double chocolate banana bread that was deliciously baked by Andie and Ellie.
