Sisters Kendra and Scarlett Kramer have finally earned their first stripes from their beginner's Brazilian jiu-jitsu class.
Team Kramer or Doug, Chesca, Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin, have recently gotten into another sport, Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
In an Instagram post, Chesca revealed that her family and some of their relatives get together in their home on Sundays for a beginner's class on Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Aside from keeping them fit, Chesca shares that the sport is also instrumental in instilling meaningful values to her children.
"One of the things I love about sports is that it teaches kids to 'be humble in victory and gracious in defeat!'" she wrote on her Instagram account.
For her, teaching the kids sportsmanship is not only important because their father is an athlete, but also because it can make them better persons when they grow up.
"It teaches them what sportsmanship is about. Showing a good attitude whether they win or lose! So many lessons and teachings about humility, patience, self-control, perseverance, gentleness, honesty, respect and team work- all these traits are important attributes and discipline that they will take with them all throughout their life," she adds.
Chesca also shared a video from the class where Scarlett is seen grappling with Gavin, then later with Kendra.
Chesca also proudly shared that her both Kendra and Scarlett have finally earned their first stripes in the sport.
"My baby girls got promoted and got their first stripe in Brazilian jiu-jitsu! Look at their proud smiling faces!" she wrote.
Chesca and Doug are homeschooling their kids and have shared a few things they have learned through their vlog.
