Celebrity mom Saab Magalona wanted her birthday this coming November 23 to be a lot more meaningful by extending help to kids with disabilities.
Last November 17, Saab marked the World Prematurity Day, wherein she remembered the struggles she faced as a parent, when Baby Pancho was born nine weeks too early.
She posted, “Today is #WorldPrematurityDay! Almost 3 years ago, Pancho was born 9 weeks earlier than expected. He spent 2 months in the NICU before we were able to bring him home. It hasn't been without complications but every time I hold him, I feel so so lucky. Swipe to see him in the NICU where we couldn't even touch him for a time.”
That's why instead of receiving gifts, she encouraged her friends, family, and her more than 625,000 followers to donate any amount to children with disabilities to pay for their teletherapy.
Saab explained, “For my birthday this year (Nov 23), I would really appreciate it if my friends and family would donate any amount to help Children With Disabilities get the teletherapy they need during this crucial time.”
Last May, Saab was feeling a bit emotional as she remembered the surgery of Pancho Gerardo done in 2018.
Both Saab and her husband Jim Bacarro have gone through some difficult time two years ago, since they lost the twin sister of Pancho named Luna on February 8, 2018.
