Like any other expectant moms struggling to cope with the pandemic, Aicelle also feared for her safety, especially of her unborn child.

“Pregnant women are hormonal and more emotional.

"They get to overthink. Una siyempre, fear of getting COVID kasi you don't know what the effects of COVID will be to your baby,” she said during the virtual media conference on Tuesday, November 17.

She also mentioned that she's been doing intensive sanitation around the house and everything she touches to keep herself protected from the virus.

“Paranoid na kung paranoid sa pag-sanitize ng lahat ng bagay, you do it. I think 'yung first trimester was the most emotional one kasi nga 'yun 'yung nabalitaang buntis ka.

“I think it's the same for everyone, pregnant or not, hindi ba? Kasi March 'yon, e. Ako, I found out I was pregnant in April. So, onset yon ng pandemic and lockdown,” she shared.

Despite the anxiety, Aicelle remains strong by keeping her faith.

“Mayroon kang nights na you would just cry but then again at the end of the day just pray and lift it all of Him because there's nothing you can do,” she added.

Aicelle and her husband Mark Zambrano announced they were having a baby girl in October, and they're naming her Zandrine Anne.

She's expected to give birth in December.
