Sheena Halili is now a mommy! Read her heartfelt Instagram post for her princess HERE:
First-time mom Sheena Halili received the best gift this Christmas season--the gift of life.
The former StarStruck contestant gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Saturday, December 12.
Sheena, together with her non-showbiz husband, Atty. Jeron Manzanero, has decided to name their daughter Martina Candice.
Back in June, the Manzanero couple confirmed to the public that they are having a baby and the following month, they revealed the gender of their baby.
It was no easy feat for Sheena, because just like many other moms who gave birth this 2020, they had to grapple with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Instagram, Sheena shared a photo with her princess Martina on December 14 and expressed her profound love for her.
She wrote, “Di ko alam na ako pala si superwoman kayang-kaya lahat basta okay ka, anak!
“Ang sarap-sarap maging mommy.”
Sheena's post has already gotten more than 51,000 likes at this writing.
Many celebrities have also congratulated her for this new blessing in her life including fellow moms Maricris Garcia and Rachelle Ann Go.
In a separate post, Sheena also thanked all the doctors and nurses, who made sure that she would have a safe delivery.
She said, “I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that were part of my pregnancy journey. Most especially to my very maalagang OB, Dra. Marie Victoria Cruz-Javier. She was the reason why healthy at malakas ako sa pregnancy ko hanggang sa mag push ako kagabi.”
For those who don't remember, Sheena is part of the first-ever season of the reality-based artista search StarStruck, which produced some of today's big names in show business, including Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmien Kurdi, Cristine Reyes, Katrina Halili, and Mark Herras.
Some of her recent projects with GMA-7 were Love You Two (2019), Impostora (2018), and Destined To Be Yours (2017).
Time does fly, especially if you realize that Sheena only tied the knot with Jeron last February. Their wedding was regarded as a star-studded one with many big names flocking to their ceremony, like Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and AlDub actress Maine Mendoza, among many others.
They got engaged in August 2018, where Jeron popped the question to Sheena inside a cinema in San Juan City.
We can't wait for more family photos of the Manzanero family in the future.
