For Jewel Mische, 2020 was not that bad. “It gave us so much more family time than we are used to. It was our best year yet as a married couple, there were many a financial blessing, and it was the year our second dream baby was born.”

Jewel Mische admits the year 2020 was one of the most memorable years she had with her family.

The former actress shared her personal thoughts and experiences about the year 2020 even though most people declared it as the most horrifying and heartbreaking year.

Year 2020 was the year where major changes happened worldwide because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an Instagram post, Jewel said that 2020 wasn't what she was expecting. She also disclosed that despite its uncertainties, she wouldn't trade it for anything because she collected a lot of good memories with her family the past year.

Jewel wrote, “Unpopular opinion: 2020 was a good year. It wasn't all what I expected but I wouldn't trade this year for anything.️”

She added that she is grateful for the blessings that she received in 2020.

In 2020, Jewel gave birth to her second baby with Alex Kurzer, Emerald. It was also the year they celebrated their first-born's second birthday. Her daughter, Aislah Rose, had an intimate birthday celebration in July.

Last December, Jewel and Alex celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Jewel admitted in her anniversary post the happy moments and the difficulties that they faced as a couple. She said it took more than two years of no kissing and cuddling because they agreed to wait for the right time.

“We waited 2 years & 2 months with half of those years being long distance. Was it easy at times, no, because human flesh likes to deceive us. I had to be reminded many times of the bigger picture.”

Jewel claimed that her 2020 wasn't a bad year despite the changes she encountered. She was among the celebrity moms who gave birth in the middle of the pandemic.

She said, “2020 wasn't that bad in my books, at all.”

Jewel added that despite the changes that have occurred, there are things that could not be taken from her and her beautiful family.
