Former Miss Universe Philippines Miriam Quiambao and husband Ardy Roberto were feeling a bit emotional as they mark the second birthday of their son Elijah last February 16.
Mommy Miriam posted on Instagram that Elijah is a source of love and joy in their family.
She wrote, “ELIJAH JUST TURNED 2 YEARS! Our little one who used to be as big as a little blueberry in my growing belly is now a 29-lb little boy filled with love and joy!
“We are so grateful for our miracle baby @elijahroberto who just celebrated his 2nd birthday yesterday Feb 16, 2021. May the Lord bless you with wisdom and stature and favor with God and men.
“May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He lift His countenance upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and bring you peace.”
Unfortunately, Miriam revealed that they weren't able to celebrate because Elijah was feeling a bit under the weather.
She also asked her followers to pray for her son's recovery soon.
“He's nursing a fever the past 2 days so we didn't get to celebrate as we hoped but nonetheless he's still a ball of energy in spite of. Please pray he gets well soon.”
Meanwhile, Daddy Ardy Roberto described the birth of Elijah two years ago as “God's perfect timing.”
He posted on Instagram, “My heart is full of thanksgiving to God for giving us this miracle baby named Elijah, exactly two years ago.
“He was born prematurely, but it was really God's perfect timing.
“We love you, Elijah!
“You're God's gift to me, your Mama, your Kuya Josh, and now you'll be a Kuya soon too!
“Happy birthday, my son!
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17”
Before 2020 ended, Miriam and Ardy received another wonderful blessing when they confirmed to everyone that they will have a second baby.

Miriam shared what she was experiencing before she found out that she will be having another miracle baby at age 45.
"Nagulat na lang ako kasi November, nag-skip ako ng period. So I was counting the days, sabi ko 'Ang tagal na.'
"Tapos 'yung mga symptoms ko before with Elijah (the couple's first-born son) like tenderness of the breast, 'di ko nararamdaman. Pero, ang napapansin ko, parang lagi akong hapong-hapo, parang lagi akong pagod, feeling ko tamad ako, parang gusto ko lang matulog. 'Yun ang naramdaman ko.
"Tapos hindi naman ako nasusuka, by God's grace, kahit kay Elijah, hindi ko naramdaman 'yung pagsusuka na 'yon. Walang indication except for the missed period."
