Celebrity stylist Liz Uy and businessman Raymond Racaza opted for a simple baptism amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
With the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic looming over the country, stylist Liz Uy and her businessman husband Raymond Racaza chose to have a simple baptism for their second son, Mati.
According to Liz, the ceremony happened before the government imposed new restrictions putting the National Capital Region and other provinces under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) last August 6. This was implemented to stop the growing number of new infections, which now stands at 1,839,635 based on the latest figures from the Department of Health (DOH).
She shared in her Instagram post, “Pre-lockdown, with just us three, we welcomed Mati into the Christian world.”
Several celebrities congratulated the Racaza family for Mati's new milestone and made sure that they are feeling the love, despite the circumstances brought upon by the current pandemic.
Liz gave birth to her second son in March 2021, while her first-born Xavi was born on September 20, 2017.
