“Confeeeermed! It's another girl!” - Sitti Navarro-Ramirez
After announcing their pregnancy five months ago, bossa nova singer Sitti Navarro-Ramirez and her husband Joey Ramirez are expecting another girl.
In an Instagram post yesterday (September 14), Sitti shared a photo of herself wearing a pink off-the-shoulder tulle dress while showing her beautiful baby bump.
Sitti said that people in her household thought that she was going to have a boy as her second child.
“Almost everyone in our household thought it'll be a baby boy this time,” she wrote in her post.
Aside from this, the local artist also said that people around her also noticed some changes in her body such as her pointed tummy and strong facial features.
Sitti continued, “Manang Klim and Yayay would say na patusok daw kasi tiyan ko tsaka di ako nag-aayos nung first few months (grabe nausea ko until the 5th month!! Wala akong kagana-gana mag-ayos hapon na ako bumabangon para maligo).”
She added, “Everything about my body was so much bigger this pregnancy, as in everything! Si Tita Budeng ko naman sabi niya, iba raw kasi itsura ko, mas tumapang tapos on the 12th/13th week ultrasound - we saw a lawit! So we really thought it was a boy - namigay na nga rin ako ng old clothes ni Lilibub hahahaha.”
Around her 22nd week, Sitti underwent a congenital anomaly scan (CAS) where she confirmed her second baby's gender.
“Honestly ako basta healthy siya and umabot kami ng 37 weeks, hindi mahalaga saken ang gender. But I know Joey would've really wanted a boy to continue the family name. Maybe on our third, God-willing, baby boy na,” she added.
Prior to ending her post, she penned a sweet message for her unborn child through the words, “See you soon, our second little precious one. Dyan ka muna sa loob ah? Wag masyado maging excited lumabas (kiss emoji).”
In April, Sitti announced that she's expecting baby number two with her husband Joey Ramirez despite having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APAS).
The celebrity couple's firstborn child is Issiah Dañelle, whom they welcomed in 2018.
