Jaya on her son's first day of school: “1st day of school for my son Dylan. Thank you Jesus for the grace. Please watch over him throughout this year.”
OPM singer Jaya couldn't help but be emotional as her son, Dylan, officially began his first day of middle school yesterday, September 20.
In an Instagram post, the celebrity mom took a short video of Dylan at school and congratulated him on his new journey.
“Do you feel nervous?” Jaya asked her son in the video.
Dylan then responded with a yes and said that he had not been in a school for three years.
Jaya also posted a photo of her, Dylan, and her husband, Gary Gotidoc, where they wore face masks with happy smiles on their faces.
She wrote in her post, “1st day of school for my son Dylan. Thank you Jesus for the grace. Please watch over him throughout this year.”
In the comments section, netizens expressed their love and support for Jaya's second child through kind messages.
Jaya also shared another proud mommy moment as Dylan became an official football player on September 12.
She penned in the caption, “Dylan is now an official Football player!! Congrats on your first game of the season. We are soo happy and proud of you Din. And again, Homer and Staci Jocson you two came through, for taking some awesome photos and you even made a cool banner!! You guys are the best thank you and we love you.”
On July 10, Jaya, or Maria Luisa Gotidoc in real life, left the Philippines with her two children to relocate to the United States of America.
