On Instagram, the actress posted photos of their child's intimate Boss Baby-themed birthday celebration at their home attended by their families and close friends, including Janella's mom and Little Princess star Jeninne Desiderio.
In the caption, Janella said, "Planning a party in the middle of a pandemic is difficult, but so is keeping a one year old baby in a suit (who loves to move around and cries when people collectively sing him the happy birthday song) happy during picture taking.
"Nonetheless, it was a wonderful and intimate little party spent with family and close friends.
"Thank you for loving our boss baby and for being there to celebrate his first year of life."
Janella and Markus introduced their son to the public on January 5, 2021 via social media, ending months of speculation on the former's pregnancy status.
The celebrity couple first revealed they are in a relationship back in September 2020.
