Celebrity beauty doctor Vicki Belo clarified why her adorable six-year-old baby Scarlet Snow carries the Belo name instead that of her husband, Dr. Hayden Kho.

In an interview with talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz, Vicki candidly shared that she specifically asked for a “Belo baby” from her then partner. While she treats Kho, Quark, Crystal, and all her clients/endorsers of her brand her “babies,” she wanted someone to carry the Belo name.

Vicki also recalled that people in her life were then against her plans of having another baby. Vicki however, gave in to her dream of having another child, hence, the birth of Scarlet Snow Belo.

“Kaya si Scarlet, hiningi ko 'yan kay Hayden eh, 'yun siguro ang hindi alam ng tao na I told Hayden. 'Hayden can I have a Belo baby? Di'ba tawag ko sa'yo Belo baby, all my Belo babies but I don't have a real Belo baby because my Quark and Crystal are Henares and Hayden and I were not married anyway when we had Scarlet. So I said 'Can I please have a Belo baby?'" she said.

Kho however tried to bargain with his partner to give his name to Scarlet when they tie the knot but Vicki insisted that the baby carry her name.

“He promised me and we got married sabe niya 'Oh ano, puwede na bang Kho na to si Scarlet?' Sabi ko 'hindi, sabi mo sa'kin Belo baby,' she's a Belo baby forever.”

The famous dermatologist also shared that Scarlet however sometimes puts her father's name in some writings but legally, she still remains a Belo.

“Si Scarlet na mismo naglalagay ng Belo-Kho pero of course in the birth certificate and everything it's Belo.”
