Comedienne Kakai Bautista proudly spends Christmas with family in her hard-earned home for the first time.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the actress recounted how for most of her family's life, they've jumping from home to home because of financial instability.

Now, after 20 years of hard work in showbiz, she has finally put up a permanent home for her family.

"Ngayong taon, natupad na ang pinangarap kong bahay para sa pamilya ko ng mahigit 20 years," she said.

Pinakamasarap makita na masaya ang aking Mama, Papa (serious lang siya diyan) at mga kapatid," she added.

"First time para sa aming lahat dahil ilang taon kaming nangupahan, nagpalipat-lipat at napalayas. Mawalan ng kuryente ng anim na buwan dahil tanggal ang bubong dahil sa bagyo. Ilang beses nagkahiwahiwalay dahil sa pagkakataong mahirap. Pero by God's grace andito kami ngayon. First time sa lahat ng aspeto pagdating sa bahay," she further narrated.

Kakai also reminded everyone to not give up on dreams even ay the face of difficulties and circumstances.

She also thanked the Lord for making them go through all the hardships in life because it made her driven to succeed.

Her post inspired her followers and fans; her friends congratulated her for realizing her dream.

Even then, Kakai still had her fair share of controversy this 2021 when Thai actor Mario Maurer's camp released a demand letter refraining the actress from ever making reference to and about the actor publicly again.

Kakai's camp retaliated and detested all claims supposedly made by Mario's camp.

Her team also reasoned that Kakai is free to talk about her experiences with Mario given the latter's international figure status and absence of a non-disclosure agreement between the two.
