Cosmetic surgeon and entrepreneur Vicki Belo admitted that her birthday this year is a bittersweet one, because she's missing two important persons in her life.

Many netizens were touched by the revelations of doctor to the stars Vicki Belo on Instagram on why she decided to put up her own beauty clinic in Los Angeles, California.
Vicki shared the real reason when she replied to her son's sweet birthday message for her on Instagram.
Quark Henares posted a throwback photo with his mom and shared a quick story when he was still a student in LA.
“Rummaging through all my old stuff from my time studying in LA, I found these random “no filter” pictures of my mom and me (probably taken by a Tito) whenever she'd visit.”
He added, “Anyone who knows Vicki Belo knows that she always travels with an entourage. It's rare to find her without a makeup artist or a social media expert following closely behind. Those days, though, it was just her and me; and we'd go on dinner dates or I'd take her to watch Short Term 12 or whatever sweet little movie I thought she should see.”
The film director admitted that business school was difficult, but his mom made all the difference, since she would check up on him.
“Business school was hell for me, but those short visits were always enough to keep me feeling the warmth of home. Happy birthday, @victoria_belo! It hasn't even been a month since I last saw you, but already missing you massively on your special day!”
Dr. Belo responded to the kind words of her son and shared that she established her own clinic in one of the busiest cities in the state of California so she could visit Quark as often as she could.
“Do you know that I put up a clinic in Los Angeles so I could visit you every 2 months when you studied there?”
The birthday girl continued that her celebration this year is a bittersweet one. “It's a bittersweet birthday because you and @cristallebelo are not here . I am so proud of you . You followed your passion and I can't tell you how many young people I've met who say that you changed their lives .
“I was so excited for you to be I. [in] The company of like minded people at the sun dance film festival. But I'm sure you'll get another chance to do this live.”
Among those who sent their birthday greetings to Vicki Belo include Mano Po Legacy actor Victor Basa and singer Karylle.
Quark is the son of Vicki Belo with her ex-husband Atom Henares. They also have a daughter, Cristalle Belo-Pitt.
Vicki tied the knot with Dr. Hayden Kho in Paris in 2017.
