Though born on a leap year, Ina commemorates her late dad's birthday on February 27.
Actress Ina Feleo fondly remembers a special project she did with her late father Johnny Delgado and her multi-awarded director mom Laurice Guillen last February 27.
As a sort of tribute for her father's birthday, Ina shared a highlight of the short film she directed more than 13 years ago starring her talented parents.
Ina wrote in the caption, “A clip from, LABING LABING, a short film I directed in 2009 where I casted my parents as the two leads. This also turned out to be daddy's last film. After this he said, “Gawa pa tayo. Gusto ko sayo an lang ako aarte.”
“It's very sad that I only had this one film with him, but I am also so grateful that his one-of-a-kind laugh is immortalized in this film.
“Happy birthday in heaven, daddy kong mahal ko.”
Johnny Delgado died in 2009 due to lymphoma. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2008.
