Maritoni continued, "It seems like only yesterday he was in roller skates in our driveway chasing after me and clinging onto me so tight. I've seen how you and your best friends have grown up together and today, you are all such fine, smart, gentle men.

"It is bitter sweet for a mom as it is a moment of deep pride and realization at the same time, that you are no longer a baby and will be needing me less and less in the years to come. Wow, words cannot describe my joy and excitement for you and all that lies ahead for you, my love [Liam Sarmiento]. Go conquer the world and fulfill your dreams! I will always be right behind you, cheering you on and supporting you in every way possible. You make us all so proud."

Liam graduated high school at the Multiple Intelligence International School in Quezon City.

Aside from Maritoni, her husband Mon Dayrit, stepson Julian, and daughter Lexi are also present in the event.
