Kapuso star Max Collins assures that she can be a hands-on mom to her two-year-old son Skye Anakin despite her booming career.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on "Chika Minute," Max said that she still wants to do her mommy duties despite her career booming. She also admitted that it's difficult being a mom but fulfilling.
“That's what I wanna do. And mommy duties. Very difficult being a mom, but fulfilling,” she said.
Max's career took a turn for the better when she bagged a role in the American-Filipino crime TV series Almost Paradise. She said that she auditioned for the role and while it came as a surprise for her to have bagged her role, she admitted that it was a dream come true to have an international project.
Last September, Max announced through an Instagram post that she's now part of the hit series. She posted a picture of her with lead actor Christian Kane expressing how lucky she is to be working with him. Before that, she also posted a picture of her and Hollywood producer Dean Devlin.
As of writing though, no other details have been revealed regarding her role in the series.
Max said that if she gets a chance to work here and abroad, she's willing to do both, including her mommy duties, saying that “basta gusto, may paraan.”
She also said that she can bring Skye when she needs to work abroad, or even fly back and forth if needed just so she can fulfill her mommy duties.
Skye celebrated his second birthday last July with an astronaut theme. Max celebrated her son's second birthday with friends and godmothers including Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, and Janina Manipol.
She also recently shared a few snaps of her and Skye enjoying the beach and having some sweet bonding moments by the shore.
