It's officially 2023! People around the world have their own set of traditions to welcome the new year. Most gather 'round the dining table and feast until midnight but for Miss World 2013 Megan Young embarking on a road trip and coffee shop hopping with the family is the way to go.

On the beauty queen's Instagram feed, she posted a carousel of photos showcasing what went down during her New Year's celebration with the family. It started with a photo of Megan giving Mikael Daez a peck on the cheek. In her caption, she describes this and says, “I did our countdown in Manila. We drove from Subic on the 31st and went back to Subic the next day.”

The next set of photos showcases Megan hanging out with her husband Mikael Daez, sister Lauren Young and her boyfriend Toby Panlilio, and their brother Victor Young at a coffee shop in Subic. Of course, the family portrait wouldn't be complete without the presence of Megan and Mikael's baby dogs Soba and Chia. Along the way, the fur babies met a new friend!

Megan shares, “2-5 sibling and partner coffee hangout (@jenriel_ we KINDA missed you). Love that so many places in Subic are pet friendly!! 6 met a friendly doggo while sippin on some coffee.”

For the last two photos, Megan was seen hanging out with her mom Victoria Young and Mikael as well as her other relatives. She states, “7-8 family lunch after visiting and praying for Lola and our other family that are watching over us.”

Three days into the new year and the Kapuso actress has been doing what she loves. By the end of her post, Megan hoped that the start of the year has been good for everyone!
