Happy islanders Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo have recently been formally teaching their daughter Lilo Alipayo how to surf and ride the waves in Siargao. Andi even dedicated a full-length vlog to capture the beautiful moment.

In the video, Lilo was spotted confidently paddling and surfing with the waves. Although her papa Philmar is still helping her catch her waves, Lilo's doing a great job riding all of them on her own. Well, we're not at all surprised since Lilo is learning from the best. Philmar is one of the most lauded surfers in the country with numerous accolades under his belt.

On Andi's Instagram, the mom of three shared a series of videos highlighting Lilo's great form when she's surfing. Lilo's eagerness to surf was even captured at the start of the reel. Andi wrote in her caption, “Lilo has been enjoying surfing lessons with @chepoxz lately!”

The little girl also expressed that she wants to be like her dad when she grows up. When asked by Philmar what she wants to be when she grows up, Lilo answered, “A champion.”

Andi further shared in her caption, “Lilo just randomly went up to me and goes "mom, I wanna be a champion like papa". The feelssss, the moment I figured out what she was telling me!”

The former actress has been open about her kids' journey when it comes to exploring and figuring out what they want to be when they become adults. As progressive parents, Andi and Philmar allow their kids to be themselves and make their own choices. They also find joy in seeing their kids love the life they are able to offer them.
