One of the biggest events of GMA Network, the GMA Gala 2024, recently concluded with Kapuso stars and guests dressed in some of the most beautiful gowns and suits. However, one of the gowns that was talked about the most during the event was worn by Pulang Araw star Barbie Forteza.
In an interview, Barbie shared that her gown was a tribute to the said historical series as it symbolizes peace after the war.
“[It] symbolizes the new look of 1947, which celebrated the newfound peace after the war,” Barbie said.
She added about her gown, “There are Sakura branches [on the gown], but the flowers are Sampaguita to merge Japan and the Philippines.”
