Heads up, gentlemen! According to certified sneakerhead and Sole Slam founder Antonio Aguirre, these five types of shoes will be constant in the future. So if you have any of these, don't just throw it away!

Skater Shoes

One of the go-to shoes of guys is the skater shoes which is simple and comes in many colors. Antonio described these kinds of shoes as “always classic.”

High Top Shoes

Another classic shoe would be the high top kind of shoes. Antonio argued that high top shoes are “sobrang simple lang pero it's something you wouldn't know what type of person would be wearing it. Across the market type of shoes like A, B, C, D, market.”

Low Top Shoes

You can never go wrong with black or white low top shoes. It is easy to pair with every clothes you have in your closet whether you are wearing jeans or trousers, shirts or polos.

Chunky Shoes

Another hot item in the sneakerhead community is bulky shoes. Antonio revealed that it is in demand because of its bulky appearance. “It's really a classic. It looks like a chunky shoe, cross-training shoe but it's light and comfy to use.”

Unlike the low top kinds of shoes, Bulky shoes are difficult to style.

Basketball aficionados and fashion gurus would agree that one of the staple kinds of shoes is the sneakers. Sneakers range from high cut to basketball shoes to boots but Antonio has one favorite.

“My favorite of all is always the Jordan 1, timeless classic. Sobrang basic lang niya, nothing fancy about it. And the good thing about it, hindi siya nadudurog.”

ADDITIONAL TIP:

When buying sneakers, Antonio has a lone tip. “Buy what you want. Don't get influenced by people, not even by me. I would say, everyone has to develop their own taste when it comes to shoes.”

Aguirre concluded, "what you are wearing should be a representation of who you are as a person. If it's not you then don't buy it just because the other person has it.
