Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee proudly wears a custom Nono Palmos suit made from handwoven fabric from Sulu.
Philippine bet Michelle Dee has just landed in London and it seems like the slew of activities have already started for the beauty queen and her Miss World journey.
On her Instagram stories, Michelle shared her outfit of the day that bore resemblance to the Philippine flag.
“Day 1! #Miss World,” she captioned.
“Wearing a Nono Palmos suit made with handwoven fabric from Yakan weavers from Basilan, Sulu. The colors are inspired by the Philippine flag. #MichelleDeeFortTheWorld”
She also met up with her fellow Miss World contestants Miss World Indonesia Princess Megonondo, Miss World Czech Republic Denisa Spergerova, and Miss World Malaysia Alexis SueAnn.
Together with the other delegates, Michelle was also able to get to tour around London and posed in front of the iconic Tower Bridge of London
