In celebration of World Breastfeeding Month, Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff launched her newest clothing line which primarily caters to breastfeeding moms and pregnant women.

In a vlog, Solenn explained that it was a passion project she thought of many years ago.

“This is a different vlog, it's basically tapping one of the passions that I've had,” she explained.

“It was actually my course in college. I went to Paris to study fashion and maybe, not many of you know that, but I did start as a fashion designer, working for the brand of Lulu Tan Gan.”

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Solenn was stuck at her home, breastfeeding her months-old baby, Thylane Katana.

“During this lockdown, of course I was stuck at home, having to breastfeed my baby and struggling like hell,” Solenn shared.

“And of course, having to jump from one Zoom meeting to another, I decided to pair up with Elin and this is basically just to give a type of, how would you call it, lounge wear? Something that's very comfortable yet something you know you can wear to sleep in, you can attend your meetings with.

“And, of course, most essentially, to breastfeed because that's one of the things where every two seconds I have to pop my boob out.

“And I was lacking of that type of clothing.”

Solenn added that the clothes were made out of bamboo and cotton spandex to provide comfort.
