Ruru is now set to star in the upcoming movie Green Bones alongside Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

Details on their roles have yet to be released but the movie tells the story of a man imprisoned for the murder of his sister and her daughter. As he is up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars - no matter what it takes.

Green Bones is the entry of GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs for the 50th edition of Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2024.

The film will be under the helm of award-winning director Zig Dulay and is written by National Artist for Films and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee and 2023 MMFF Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza.
