The struggle is real, but Iya Villania is powering through her pregnancy with exercise.

Iya Villania showed a realistic day in her life as a pregnant mom of four, gathering her energy for a workout.

On Instagram, the “Chika Minute” host opened up about her journey into her fifth pregnancy, "With this growing belly, A5's hardening bones, inevitable weight gain, rubbing thighs (not that I ever had a thigh gap) the struggle is getting so real."

"I'm [having mixed feelings about being pregnant during the Christmas season, [it's] good 'cause it's a great time to excuse yourself from the gift giving (because stressing over gifts, money and logistics is unnecessary for mama and baby) and the Christmas rush might help lessen the dragginess of the pregnancy, BUT it also ain't a good season because…" Iya wrote, ending the sentence with a pig emoji.

"So this is me at the moment feeling like a whale having to roll from one side to another," Iya said as she worked out laying down to protect her pregnant abdomen, and sliding from one side to the other.

The Kapuso broadcaster said that while she has "some good days at the gym" it's mostly her having "lazy days."

She continued, "Some might say, 'why not just rest, slow down, and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy?' And my answer is because this is already slowing me down and I can't enjoy being a mother, without the strength to be able to still do the things I love doing with them!

"Besides, aside from giving myself total rest and recovery after delivery, maybe one day I will be forced to stop and chill for who knows what reason,” she added.

"So while I can and while it is still beneficial for myself, the baby and my family, I will keep moving. Movement and working out might look and feel different for me right now but that's just the reality of pregnancy and I just have to roll with it.

"Cheers to everyone who's trying to stay fit, healthy and strong for themselves and for the people they love," Iya concluded.

In a Fast Talk with Boy Abunda episode in November 2024, Iya said exercise boosts her strength.
"Malaking bagay that I'm healthy and fit, because then I'm able for my family," she told the King of Talk.

"Mas may pasensya ka, mas may endurance ka, masasamahan mo sila sa mga trip nila," Iya added.

In the episode, she also revealed the fifth pregnancy was not planned, "It was not planned, but it's always a welcome surprise. It was always a welcome accident, because I always knew that unless he wasn't tied [vasectomy] there was a possibility."

Iya Villania and husband Drew Arellano tied the knot on January 31, 2014. They welcomed their first baby in 2016. They have four children, Primo, Leon, Alana, and Astro.
