Ruru Madrid talks about knee injury from doing own action stunt

"Getting stronger everyday." That, perhaps, is Ruru Madrid's mantra at the moment.
On his social media account, Ruru shared with his followers that he recently figured in an unfortunate accident while doing his stunt and fight scenes. The said incident resulted in an Acute Ligamentous Injury on his right knee.
He wrote: "I love doing my own stunts and fight scenes pero syempre hindi maiiwasan ang aksidente... I decided to get a PT (Physical Therapist) Coach @josephsantosii para mas maging matibay at handa ang katawan sa lahat ng eksena na kailangan gawin.
He ended is post with, "Health is wealth, kaya pangalagaan natin ang ating mga katawan para sa ating kinabukasan!"
Ruru is set to star in the action-packed series "Black Rider." He will be joined by Matteo Guidicelli and Yassi Pressman.
