Sampung taon na ang nakalilipas nang magsimula si Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino sa sport na Brazilian jiu-jitsu. 

Aminado ang aktor na five years ago lang nang talagang seryosohin niya at pagtuunan ng pansin ang sport.

Kaya naman isang malaking hakbang sa kanyang nagpapatuloy na Brazilian jiu-jitsu journey ang pagkaka-promote niya sa purple belt. 

 

Faixa Roxa. It was 10 years ago when I was on and off with Jiu jitsu. Started doing it only as a means of self defense, and grew to love it as a sport and as a lifestyle. After almost 5 years of doing this straight, My passion for this beautiful art is once again renewed. Today I got promoted to Purple belt, a huge milestone in my Jiu jitsu journey. It doesn't stop here, I cannot wait to to explore and improve more on my techniques especially now that I have my purple belt. I wish to inspire and help others who want to learn and appreciate this martial art as well. "Purple represents the changing sky of dawn, as once again the student undergoes a new change and prepares for the transition to advanced student. A purple belt begins to understand the meaning of the black belt." Thank you to our Professors, @alisulitjiujitsu , Hansel Co and Ralph Go for always helping us improve, on and off the mats. And to my teammates who have never ending support for all of us. Despite my schedule, I will always make time for this sport that I love. Oss! #FaixaRoxa

Ang purple belt ay ang "intermediate adult ranking" sa Brazilian jiu-jitsu, pagkatapos ng white at blue belt. 

"It doesn't stop here, I cannot wait to explore and improve more on my techniques especially now that I have my purple belt. I wish to inspire and help others who want to learn and appreciate this martial art as well," sulat ni Rocco sa kanyang Instagram account.

Busy nang muli si Rocco dahil nagsisimula na ang taping para sa kanyang upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series na Haplos. Muli niyang makakapareho dito ang kanyang Encantadia leading lady na si Sanya Lopez.
