Aniya, “I've been debating with myself about whether or not to post a before and after photo of my weight loss. But the positive comments I got from my sweaty workout post a few days back made the decision for me. It's such a gift to hear from you that I have, in some small way, influenced and pushed you to start or move forward or work harder towards your goal."

Sa nasabi ring post, binigyang diin ng TV host na hindi nito ginugutom ang sarili.

“I actually have more to share...to start, let me just put it out there. I Do Not starve myself. I eat. And I eat a lot. I enjoy my food. I have more than my share of sweets and I can never say no to chocolates, cookies, and cakes...

“Eating is a thing for me. I will never give up that which gives me so much happiness. So no, mine is not a restrictive diet, at least not in terms of WHAT I eat. It is more of WHEN.”

Dagdag ni Lyn, hindi naging madali ang intermittent fasting at naka-ilang linggo rin muna siya sa sa fasting bago makita ang resulta.

“At almost 45, I've tried so many diet fads that I could never sustain. This one works for me. As with everything else though, please ask your doctor first if your body can take it. Then if you're okay, perhaps give it a go? Just make sure to hold on tight because the results come in veeeerrrryyy sloooooowly...it took weeks before I saw the needle on my scale move...be patient and just breathe.”

Nage-ehersisyo rin daw siya at nagbigay pa ng ilang tips para hindi tamarin sa page-exercise.

“Exercise is also very important when it comes to becoming fitter. I've gone through so many but what i've realized are two things:

“1. Proximity matters. If the exercise place you go to is about an hour from ur place, chances are, you will quit. I have chosen a gym that i can walk/run/kickscooter to AND a yoga studio that's 20 mins away that i carpool going to, and that's where my next realization comes in.

“2. An exercise friend/barkada matters. I've had exercise sessions with many friends over the years but what's different now is that my Pilates support group and i all live near each other. We carpool to the studio and try to align our schedules to be able to attend classes together. We do get lazy but in the end, we pull each other to move. This helps motivate me. Support systems matter!”
