Worried that you have been gaining weight since the quarantine started last March?
With our physical activities restricted and gyms not opening anytime soon, it is better to sweat it out right at the comforts of our home.
In the pilot episode of Home Work last July 23, hosts Tonipet Gaba and Rovilson Fernandez featured fitness buff Arjay Ocampo, who managed to stay fit amid the lockdown by creating his own do-it-yourself (DIY) gym equipment.
Arjay's job was also severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, so he didn't have the money to spare to buy expensive fitness equipment.
Instead, he crafted his own equipment using scrap wood like kawayan, some rope, and even the tree in their backyard to work out regularly.

He explained, “Dito na ako na-lockdown. Naisip ko na ano ba pagkakaabalahan, Sabi ko sa sarili ko, mag-work out ako.
“Try ko na gumanda 'yung katawan ko at maging healthy pa. Kailangan natin maging healthy sa ngayon.”
He added that discipline and patience are some of the ingredients for you to achieve your dream bod.
Arjay told Home Work, “Remember lang, focus and taking 15 minutes to 30 minutes [to] work out.
“Eating healthy, discipline, and patience para ma-achieve nila 'yung katawan nila.”
