Gym equipment does not come cheap, that's why it's cool to see a fellow Kapuso convert his backyard into a makeshift gym using all the types of materials that can be practically found in the house.
His name is Arjay Ocampo, a professional magician, bubble artist, bartender, entertainer, and a certified fitness buff.
In an episode of the New Normal: The Survival Guide series titled "Home Work," Arjay showcased the DIY gym equipment that he made out of pieces of scrap wood, bamboo, and rope.
And he spent almost nothing for it.
"Gumawa ako ng DIY equipment like hurdles, pang triceps, pang bicep workout.
Arjay came up with this idea to make himself productive during the quarantine since his job was affected by the pandemic.
Ultimately, Arjay's initiative is proof that we can still do our usual workout routine, and stay fit and healthy even we're stuck at home and we don't have equipment of our own.
