“I make turon all the time,” reveals Halsey.

Filipino fans are going berserk as American singer and songwriter Halsey shared with her more than 12M followers on Twitter her favorite Pinoy snack turon.

On Twitter, the “Without Me” singer answered a netizen with the username @3amonwards if she ever tried cooking any Filipino food.

Her answer, “I make turon all the time!”

Filipino fans obviously went crazy as the singer revealed she cooks one of the most popular Filipino snacks.

MCA Music even commented, “Oh my gosh! Turon is life, @halsey” followed by the emojis of the Philippine flag and a heart.

Some fans even suggested for Halsey to try making lumpia which is essentially replacing bananas with an array of vegetables dipped in vinegar or sweet and sour sauce.

A certified foodie, Halsey admits that she oftentimes hunt for local food whenever she travels.

“I've always been a big foodie! I cook every single day.

“Peter Don [Halsey's videographer] has like 5000 hours of footage of me dining and hunting for local foods everywhere we travel. Hahaha!

The American singer's last visit to the Philippines was in 2018 when she held a concert at the Kia Theater as part of her “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” tour.

On January 17, she dropped her third studio album, Manic, a 16-track album that features artists like Dominic Fike, Alanis Morissette, and Suga of BTS.
