Since the new normal and social distancing is a must, we have to find ways to enjoy some of our favorite food while staying indoors.
One of the things that we miss is street food, especially the juicy and meaty inihaw. Pork barbecue, isaw, and other grilled meat are must haves for Filipino foodies. Since we have restrictions to beat COVID-19, sellers tried selling their products online.
Here are some to consider if you want to purchase your favorite inihaw street food.
Jelly Joyce's Barbiikcue atbp. is a newly opened inihaw online store. Stand-up comedian and performer Jelly Joyce tried to put up her own food business when the lockdown started.
She is selling her instantly famous barbecue that she calls barbiikcue for PhP 22 each. Her menu also includes other inihaw favorites like tenga, isaw manok, and baboy. Barbiikcue also added longganisa, relleno, leche flan, and more in her food business on Facebook.
Inihaw ni Madam is also a seller of meaty and juicy barbecue products online.
According to their Instagram page, they deliver freshly marinated products everyday to their customers. Their barbecue is sold for Php 25 each, but other inihaw favorites are also available. Like other online stores, they also started offering other food products that Pinoy foodies can enjoy.
Calouca Grill is another online store to check out if you're into inihaw food.
Unlike the other stores in this list, CaLouCa Grill offers ready-to-grill goods. Their meats are marinated and ready for your grilling session if you want to cook these Pinoy dishes at home. They are selling in packs of 10s and their barbecue is priced at PhP 150. They are also selling other inihaw favorites and can be ordered in an assorted set.
Another seller to consider for packed marinated barbecue is gotfoodsss. They are selling vacuum sealed barbecue, isaw, tenga and more for inihaw lovers.
This option is best for those who are planning a family cookout as they are selling these for 20 pcs per pack. Their pork bbq pack is priced at Php 365.
For foodies who like to stock up on barbecue but also want some ready-to-eat products, check out the Instagram page of @arielandluzcelbbq.
According to their page, they started their business in 1980 by Mama Luzcel. Their pork barbecue is sold for Php 20 per stick and are also selling ready-to-grill packs with 12 pieces of barbecue.
Stay safe indoors and get your inihaw cravings from these food online sellers!
