The Smize Queen has just given birth to her new business venture, the Smize Cream!
For years, supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks has taught us how to do the smize. In case you're too young to remember, the iconic term that Tyra coined in 2009 means smiling with your eyes.
However, the former Victoria Secret angel and America's Next Top Model host is now teaching all of us to "have a smize" with the launch of her ice cream business named--you guessed it--Smize Cream!
On July 2, Tyra led the opening of the Smize store in Santa Monica, California.
The towering beauty cut the ribbon during the opening ceremony of their brick and mortar store in Santa Monica while rocking a yellow beret and black Smize T-shirt.
Smize Cream is the brainchild of Tyra Banks and ice cream scientist Maya Warren, PhD.
It's a super-premium ice cream with a delicious surprise at the bottom of every cup, called the Smize Surprize.
It comes in seven different flavors with clever names such as The Best Vanilla I Ever Had, Strawberry BirthYay! Cake, The Brownies, I Love You, The Purple Cookie Mon-Star & Me, The Chocolate Barbeque, The Salted Caramel King, and The Caramel Cookie Queen.
The Smize Cream is already available for pick-up and delivery across the U.S. and is priced $14 per pint, or around P700.
Tyra has also released a single to promote the brand titled “I Want That Smize Cream,” performed by her, DJ Splitz and Stori.
More new flavors are reportedly set to hit the shelves soon, including major collaboration flavors.
The ice cream business is only one of the ventures of the supermodel-turned-TV personality and entrepreneur.
Tyra is also the founder and CEO of film and TV production company, Bankable Productions.
Plus, she is also set to launch Modelland, a modelling-themed attraction also located in Santa Monica, which was named after a novel she wrote in 2011.
Aside from Tyra, another celebrity who owns an ice cream business is none other than "Ice Cream" singer, Selena Gomez.
The "Lose You To Love Me" and "Baila Conmigo" singer is the co-owner of the legendary Serendipity restaurant in the U.S., which has its own ice cream line.
They have come up with ice cream flavors inspired by BLACKPINK and the cult 90's TV series Friends.
