New Kapuso star Pokwang doesn't only know how to deliver punch lines, but she can also whip up a delicious buko pandan dessert.

Kapuso star Pokwang may be known for her versatility as an actress and TV host, effortlessly taking on roles in dramas and comedies and also bringing her contagious energy and good vibes to any show that she hosts.

But aside from that, Pokwang is also a loving wife and doting mom to her kids. Plus, she's used her skill at cooking not only to serve delicious meals to her family, but also to share it with her followers on her YouTube channel, PokLee Cooking Official.

In her first-ever guest appearance on Pinas Sarap, she shared an easy recipe of the Pinoy favorite dessert, buko pandan salad.

If you want to impress your family with this quick and easy dessert you can whip up in no time at all, below are the ingredients and procedure.

Ingredients:
Jelly powder
Cheese
Condensed milk
Nata de coco
All-purpose cream
Pandan leaves
Coconut

Procedure:
1. Boil the jelly powder and pandan leaves in water.
2. Once done boiling, place the mixture in plastic containers and set aside.
3. Grate the coconut meat.
4. Add all-purpose cream and condensed milk.
5. Add nata de coco.
6. Slice the cooled jelly you set aside earlier in cubes.
7. Add the diced jellies to the coconut mixture.
8. Add cheese and mix well.
9. Place your buko pandan in the fridge.

Pokwang said the pandan leaves are actually optional. She happens to have a pandan plant in her home garden, so she wanted to make use of them.

She also said that boiling the pandan leaves with the jelly powder will intensify the pandan flavor in your dessert.
