Miss Earth PH candidates on beauty enhancements

Miss Earth Philippines candidates Sam Samara and Ira Patricial Malaluan do not see any problem with aspiring beauty queens undergoing cosmetic enhancements.
Sam, who represents Makati City in the said pageants, admitted that she had botox treatment recently in one of the clinics of Royal Aesthetics.
She reasoned, “I don't wanna have any smile lines on my forehead, especially with heavy makeup. It's really effective and it lasts for six months, so it's a plus for me.”
Aside from this, she also tried thread lift and mesolipo treatments.
A thread lift is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that lifts and tightens the skin, while the mesolipo is a non-surgical treatment technique that uses fine needles to melt fatty deposits under the skin's surface
She shared, “I'm athletic, so botox on my arm will not be applicable to my lifestyle. So, they have alternatives for people like me to detect fats in certain areas. I will still be able to work out and get the results that I am wishing for faster.
“For people who are not that much active and who want results right away, but don't have that time, they can do botox. There are so many options that fit an individual lifestyle.”
Like Sam, Batangas representative Ira Patricia Malaluan also underwent botox treatment in the same clinic. She's also thinking of getting a Sakura Drip because, she said, “Of course as a beauty queen, we need that glow on that certain stage.”
Sam and Ira were not hesitant to share their treatments before the coronation night on May 12 because they believe the public already accepts beauty enhancements.
Sam said, “We live in a generation where we need to be ready and on the go, so it is acceptable. It is fine and it boosts your self-confidence.
“If you're okay with it and would like to go for it then, go for it.
“It doesn't matter what other people perceive. At the end of the day, as long as you know yourself and feel powerful, that's what counts.
Ira seconded, “Ira said, “Doing that kind of procedure or treatment does not mean it will change you. What's important, of course, is what's inside of your heart.
“As a beauty queen, we are now in a modern era where pageantry already evolved and everybody can speak their mind.”
The two Miss Earth Philippines candidates recently visited the newly opened clinic of Royal Aethetics at the SM North EDSA in Quezon City. They were joined by their fellow candidates @Zamboanga City - Ansha Lichelle Jones (Zamboanga), Cath Santiago (Pasig City), Marinell Salvador (Cabanatuan City), Jonalyn Balauro (Aglipay, Quirino), Merryjoy Dayrit (Bustos, Bulacan), Issa Denisse Deleon (Baler, Aurora), and Abigail Supilanas Cajegas (Dasol, Pangasinan).
They were welcomed by its owners, 2023 Mrs. Universe Philippines Dra. Arlene Cris Damot and her husband, David Jayabalan.
