Kris Aquino confirmed that she's flying back to the Philippines after staying in the US for more than two years.

The 'Queen of All Media' announced this on her Instagram today, September 12, saying that she will go back before her second immunosuppressant infusions.

At the beginning of her post, Kris listed down the health conditions, including different types of autoimmune diseases.

Kris then went on to thank her supporters for all their prayers and gave her reasons why she decided to return.

“I thank all of you for your prayers. MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG PATULOY NA MALASAKIT AT SUPORTA.” the TV host said.

Then, she related, “The reason I decided to go home is because I need to start my second immunosuppressant infusion in 2-3 weeks [it's a gentler term for chemotherapy]. Emotionally I need the encouragement and unwavering faith my sisters & cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors can provide… sadly what was the BATTLE TO IMPROVE MY HEALTH is now THE STRUGGLE TO PROTECT MY VITAL ORGANS. This is now the FIGHT OF MY LIFE.

“There are so many I wish to thank, our OC friends who became our adoptive family. The @flypal team, my 2 Fil-Am close friends Dr. Henry & Dr. Titus, and MY Dr. MP, my 3 best friends @michaelleyva_ , @lenalonte, and @annebinay (kuya josh is staying with ANNE for a few more weeks), my FILAM nurses (Mike, Cara, Patricia) and my source of strength, and God's biggest blessing, my “BIMB”. They are flying home with me. A longer gratitude post when we get home.

“Bawal Sumuko. Tuloy po ang #Laban.”

Her post immediately got thousands of likes in just a few minutes with fellow celebrities like Sparkle comedienne Pokwang and Bianca Gonzalez-Intal expressing their excitement to see Kris soon.

In an exclusive interview with Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last February, Kris requested her fellow kababayans to pray for her so she could continue to live.

She said then, “Ngayon ako hihingi ng [dasal] talaga. I'm sorry kung parang ang kapal ng mukha ko, ang tagal n'yo na akong pinagdarasal pero I really need it now.”

“I've always been very very upfront and honest at hinarap ko na 'to because alam ko na bawat araw, especially now na birthday ko pa, pahiram na lang 'to ng Diyos. Binigyan na lang ako ng bonus.

“So, whatever days are left, kung ano man ang natitira, it's a blessing. But, I really want to stay alive. I mean sino ba naman ang sasabihin na handa na akong mamatay.”

“I refuse to die, my next chapter is to be a stage mother,”
