Kapuso couple Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali took a healing trip during the Holy Week break.
Ruru and Bianca traveled separately and met at a luxury wellness resort in Batangas.
Ruru has been busy taping his primetime action drama series Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila, while Bianca has also been working on her upcoming telefantasya series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
The actor reflected on taking this well-deserved break to take time for themselves and slow down.
"One thing I've learned this long weekend: When you give so much of yourself to your work, you also need to give yourself time to breathe. Dahil ang pahinga, hindi 'yan pagtakas sa ginagawa mo--ito ang bumabalik ng sigla, para mas kaya mong ipagpatuloy ang mahal mong ginagawa. ," he wrote on Instagram.
He shared that he was able to recharge and give himself a new perspective as he heads back to work.
"No phones. No noise. Just presence. Kumain ng masarap, tumawa ng malakas, at nabuhay nang simple. I wasn't thinking about time or to-do lists. I was just there--enjoying life. And in that stillness, I felt something I didn't know I was missing--nahanap ko muli ang sarili ko. ," he continued in the caption of his post.
