Manolo Pedrosa: “Meditation greatly helped me get it together.”

Being an actor is a hard job. Sometimes it can consume your whole 24 hours doing things that you love. It can also be draining, especially when you are doing it for a long time.

Kapuso heartthrob and Inagaw na Bituin star Manolo Pedrosa has a secret to always feel better about himself despite his work as an actor: meditate.

On his Instagram post yesterday, April 9, Manolo lifted a lyrics from J. Cole's "Change" to explain why he meditates.

"I sit in silence and find whenever I meditate. My fears alleviate, my tears evaporate. My faith don't deviate, ideas don't have a date."

He shared that he challenged himself to do 30-minute meditation for a year, no ifs and no buts.

"I'm currently at 100 consecutive days of meditation with some sessions even up to an hour and a half, and I'm proud of it because it was no doubt challenging with the artista life," he said.

According to healthline.com, meditation can reduce stress, enhance self-awareness and generate kindness.

As for Manolo, he said, "Actually, I believe meditation greatly helped me get it together.

"Meditation is underrated and maybe I could inspire someone to start meditating for the better. There's just so many benefits."

I'm challenging myself to do meditation everyday for 365 days with a minimum of 30 minutes. No matter what. So I'm currently at 100 consecutive days of meditation with some sessions even up to an hour and a half, and I'm proud of it because it was no doubt challenging with the artista life. Actually, I believe meditation greatly helped me get it together. Idk, just wanted to post this, meditation is underrated and maybe I could inspire someone to start meditating for the better.
