“What a day! Woke up itching, feeling hot and couldn't breathe with hives/inflammation all over my body…”
Kapuso leading man Tom Rodriguez is doing well now after suffering from a severe allergic reaction while in the United States.
On his Instagram post yesterday, August 13, Tom recounted that he woke up feeling itchy and experienced difficulty in breathing.
He also noticed that he has hives in his face, throat and body.

“What a day! Woke up itching, feeling hot and couldn't breathe with hives/inflammation all over my body, face and throat (not sure yet sa cause but i ate some pinapple from walmart before bed)...good thing I had some prednisone for some allergies and took that right away with antihistamine and was able to call for help.”
Tom assured everyone that he is doing well after the incident and he is headed to Phoenix, Arizona, to spend time with his family.
“The hospital staff were all amazing and had me back in tip top shape right away...although I wasn't able to ride the rocket, I did get to spend time at the Houston consulate and met the amazing people who hold that fort down as well as our fellow kapusos and kababayans who were there getting their passports...nakiusap sana ako kung pwedeng umawra para sa passport pic ko...kaso may flight ako agad kaya baka di kaya in ahahaha ;)”
“Boarded na ako ngayon sa flight ko headed to phoenix to see my family!!! Woot!!! What an adventure of a day :) nakatour pa ako ng ospital....no need to worry, I have meds and I am A-OK!!”
